Will Marvin Harrison Jr. play on Monday Night Football?

For the first time this NFL season, the Arizona Cardinals are playing in prime time in Week 7. The Cardinals take on the Los Angeles Chargers in the second game of a ‘Monday Night Football’ doubleheader in their only prime time matchup of the season.

Arizona’s taken a step forward on offense this season. After finishing 24th in the NFL in points per game last season, the Cardinals are up to 17th in 2024. One factor in that is rookie wide receiver Marvin Harrison Jr., who Arizona drafted No. 4 overall in the 2024 NFL Draft.

But Harrison Jr.’s availability is uncertain this week after he suffered a concussion early on last week against the Green Bay Packers. Here’s the latest on his status.

Harrison Jr. is the latest notable wide receiver to sustain a concussion this season. Two others took weeks to go through the NFL’s concussion protocol and be cleared for a return to the field.

Philadelphia Eagles wide reciever DeVonta Smith was out for two weeks with a concussion suffered in Week 3. New York Giants wideout Malik Nabers may be back on the field Sunday for the first time since Week 5 when he left the Giants-Dallas Cowboys ‘Thursday Night Football’ game with a concussion.

The team also has wideouts Chris Moore, Andre Baccellia, and Tejhaun Palmer on the practice squad.
